The Starch Green hand has grown from a tiny wood engraving printed in sticky black, via a lovely green emblem printed letterpress on book labels, jam labels and stationery, to a gloriously enlarged screenprint on fabric - this time in orange. And watch out for the dragons...

Two opportunities to come and meet us, see our work and even make a purchase.
Jonathan is taking part in the Artists at Home weekend, and we'll be opening the studio and printing press to visitors. There are 49 open studios in all in Chiswick, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. It opens on Friday 18th June, 6-9pm, when we'll be sharing a glass of wine with our guests, and continues on Saturday, 19th and Sunday 20th June, 11am - 6pm. Jonathan will be demonstrating the Albion press in the shed. Although we'll be manning the studios all weekend so won't be doing the tour, in previous years I've really enjoyed seeing other artists' work and having a peep into their homes and studios. As Sunday is Father's Day, it might be an ideal family outing, and you might find a little something as a present for the old man.
The following Saturday, 26th June, we have a stall at the Selvedge Summer Fair at St. Augustine's Church Hall, London, N6 5QG. It'll be open 11am - 5pm and I believe there'll be tea served on quaint crockery. It's £2 to get in. There's around 30 stalls altogether which all look lovely.
Looking forward to seeing you.
